St. John MP responds to accusations
Member of Parliament for St. John Charles Griffith has hit back at a number of accusations levelled by the President of the Democratic Labour Party, Dr. Ronnie Yearwood. Mr. Griffith's response came during a Barbados Labour Party branch meeting at the Church Hall of the St. John Parish Church, a week after the DLP held a meeting at the same location. The Parliamentary Representative sought to highlight a number of initiatives either ongoing or set to come on stream, in response to a suggestion nothing was happening in the parish. Mr. Griffith who is the Minister of Youth, Sports and Community Empowerment, has also responded to the suggestion that there are no programmes for at-risk youth from St. John.
