Bondi Partners Senior Adviser Peter McGauran has criticised Joe Biden’s “egregious” pardon of his son Hunter as it is a “stain on his legacy”. US President Joe Biden pardoned his son Hunter this week, a fortnight before he faced sentencing on two charges. Hunter Biden was facing jail time for federal felony gun and tax convictions. “It’s a stain on his legacy, no question,” Mr McGauran told Sky News Australia. “The Democrats and his own liberal supporters in the media have turned on him viciously, mostly because he promised in June he would not pardon his son.”
