Star casino issued with show cause notice by casino regulator

Sydney's Star casino has been given 14 days to respond to a ‘show cause’ notice issued by the casino regulator. The company must explain why it shouldn't face penalties including losing its license after breaching casino laws. It follows a second inquiry which found The Star ‘had not moved quickly enough’ to address the concerns raised in the first inquiry.
