Star Search 2024: Twelve contenders face off in finals of Mandarin talent discovery show

Mediacorp's Star Search 2024 takes place live on Nov 24, returning after a five-year hiatus. Twelve fresh young faces will vie for the title and the chance to be the next big star of Mandarin showbiz. So far, they have also been given opportunities to hone their skills with acting workshops leading up to the show. The top three will go home with a BYD car and a Mediacorp contract. CNA speaks to Jean Toh, Executive Producer of Star Search 2024 and Star Search 2007 finalist Desmond Tan. They discuss this year's edition and what viewers can expect for the final episode. They talk about Desmond's experience as an actor and what they are looking for in the winner.
