Still not enough women at the peace table to resolve conflicts, says UN Women
More women are needed at the conflict negotiation table for opposing parties to reach a breakthrough. There is currently “an insufficiency of women at the peace table”, Ms Sarah Hendriks, director of UN Women’s Policy, Programme and Intergovernmental Division, tells CNA’s Asia First.
