Europe is experiencing its worst flooding in decades, with Storm Boris devastating central and eastern regions. In the Czech Republic, rescue helicopters are saving lives, but many others across the region are less fortunate. Homes and livelihoods have been lost as rivers overflow and towns are submerged. Thousands have been forced to evacuate, with Polish authorities declaring a state of natural disaster. In Romania, villages are underwater, leaving people without basic necessities. Austria is bracing for the worst, with the River Danube reaching record levels. Experts attribute the storm to climate change. Al Jazeera’s Andrew Simmons reports.
