Storm Gerrit: Tornado throws hundreds of lives 'into chaos'

A major incident has been declared in Greater Manchester after a "mini tornado" blew off roofs and caused significant damage to around 100 properties. Police have urged people not to return to or enter their homes until they have been assessed by structural engineers.
