Storms continue to sweep southeast Queensland

Flood warnings have been activated in Queensland after severe storms barrelled across the state's southeast yesterday. Warnings are in place for residents living in the Western Downs and South Burnett regions. The slow-moving cell crept towards the Gold Coast and Brisbane yesterday afternoon, bringing more than 60 millimetres to Coolangatta throughout the day. Areas near Toowoomba saw 56 millimetres in just an hour.
