As the Israel-Hamas conflict rages on and bloodshed continues, social order is collapsing in Gaza as desperate Palestinians struggle to make a living. CGTN Stringer hit the streets of Rafah as Ramadan began. Sameh Kali, a refugee who came to Rafah nearly five months ago, lamented that this year's Ramadan arrived with many people losing their lives. Another refugee, Mustafa Al-Zayti, recalled the joyful moments of Ramadan in previous years. He said, "We miss joining our families or friends for Ramadan. Everything is different now."
