Sudan conflict: One year on, millions displaced
It has been a year since the war erupted in Sudan. The fighting was sparked by a power struggle between two top Sudanese military generals: General Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, the de facto leader of Sudan, and Hamdan Dagalo, the commander of the Rapid Support Forces. The United Nations estimates that more than eight million people have fled their homes since the war broke out. Nearly 1.8 million Sudanese people have escaped across the country's borders. NTV’s DANIEL KIBET sat down with Ehssan Ebad Alaa Mohammed, who is one of the 1.8 million Sudanese people forced to leave the country because of the war. #NTVNews #NTVTonight #NTVWeekendEdition Subscribe to Our Channel For more news visit http://www.ntv.co.ug Follow us on Twitter http://www.twitter.com/ntvuganda Connect with us on Messenger via m.me/NTVUganda
