Sugar industry's future is in safe hands

Change is coming to the Barbados sugar industry and its future is in safe hands. The revelation came from Chairman of Co-op Energy, Lt. Col. Trevor Browne as sugar industry stakeholders sat down for a strategy meeting at the portvale factory today ahead of the 2024 sugar harvest. The sugar industry has been divested and two companies have been created to manage the operations. Trevor Thorpe reports.
