After enduring several days of sugar shortages, Saint Lucia is poised to receive a shipment of the commodity this week. Consumer Affairs Director Wendy Frederick confirms that the Ministry of Commerce is actively engaging with alternative sugar suppliers to ensure a steady supply, thereby securing the commodity for the country and preventing future shortages.
