Supporting the needy - Kazo Muslims among top beneficiaries of Zakah

Zakah, a key pillar of Islam, requires Muslims to donate 2.5% of their earnings to charity after covering their basic needs. This ensures that individuals struggling financially are not burdened by contributions beyond their means. Muslims from Kazo District in western Uganda were among the beneficiaries of this year’s Zakah distribution, organized at the Uganda Muslim Supreme Council headquarters.
