Surge in illegal Chinese migrants to the US

The US has seen a rise in migrants crossing its southern border illegally in recent years. 2023 saw its most intense increase yet. A part of this increase comes from China, with Chinese migrants embarking on perilous journeys through South America to find a new life in the USA. There have been more than 31,000 Chinese migrants recorded in 2023 trying to cross the Southern US Border. The 2023 number is roughly double the prior 10 years of Chinese migrants combined.
