A new sustainable prototype being trialled in the UK is being hailed as the future of farming. Fischer Farms is Europe’s biggest vertical farm and produces tons of crops indoors. The crops are cultivated in layers under artificial lighting, with conditions engineered to replicate the outdoors, minus any weather fluctuations.
