Former US president Donald Trump has caused a media meltdown after he promoted images of apparent Taylor Swift fans endorsing his candidacy. Trump posted on his Truth Social account a collage of 'Swifties for Trump' photos with the caption, "I accept". One of the posts showed AI-generated images of "Swifties for Trump" fans and a satirical headline - “Swifties turning to Trump after ISIS foiled Taylor Swift concert.” The post came a few days after Taylor Swift cancelled three concerts in Vienna over suspicious planned attacks inspired by ISIS. Trump's post created chaos in the media with news outlets reporting Trump falsely stated Taylor Swift endorsed him. 'Swifties4Harris' co-founder Irene Kim gave her response to Trump's post saying, "We don't need AI to show support for Kamala". “We do not represent every Swiftie, but I think there is a reason we don’t need AI to show our support for Kamala,” she said.
