Sydney University offers to review Israel ties

The University of Sydney has promised pro-Palestinian activists it will review ties with defence and security businesses involved in the Middle East conflict in a bid to end demonstrations on campus. The university has presented the activists with a three-point plan, including divestment in exchange for bringing down tents stationed on campus. The offer includes a promise to review the university’s investment portfolio but protest organisers have responded by labelling the offer atrocious.
