Sydneysiders commended for being well behaved on New Year's Eve

Revellers in Sydney have been praised for their behaviour following Tuesday night's record-breaking show. The clean-up is underway for the 50 public viewing sites for the fireworks. Authorities believe somewhere between two hundred thousand and one million people descended on the Sydney foreshore to watch the fireworks. New South Wales Police Commissioner Karen Webb has commended Sydneysiders for being "generally well behaved" during the city's New Year's Ever celebrations.
