Sydneysiders encouraged to keep umbrella handy for wet weather conditions

The Harbour City was shrouded in low-level cloud Friday as heavy rain swept the metropolitan area. Mascot has recorded more than 70 millimetres since 9am Friday, while Holsworthy in the city's southwest has seen around 60 millimetres. The SES has responded to more than 400 calls for help since the wet weather began on Thursday.
