Sydneysiders to see climbing temperatures amid heatwave warning

Sydneysiders have been advised to be cautious as the mercury soars on Sunday. The Bureau of Meteorology issued a severe heatwave warning for the metropolitan district of New South Wales. Temperatures for Sunday are forecast to hit 37 degrees. Many people opted to turn on the aircon or head to the beach on Saturday as temperatures reached the mid-30s.
