Syria announces interim prime minister

Syrian rebel forces have announced Mohammed al-Bashir will take the reins as the country's interim prime minister. In a televised address, the leader announced he would stay in the post until March 1 to lead the transition government. The interim PM will hold a small cabinet to ensure public services can return.
