T&T Takes 4th Place In North American Cup

It was an impressive showing by the Trinidad and Tobago Men's Bobsleigh team who earned their first medals of the season with a fourth place tie with powerhouse Canada at the North American Cup in Park City, Utah. The four-man team is led by pilot Axel Brown and includes Thomas Harris, Xaverri Williams, and De Aundre John. On Race Day 1, T&T clocked a solid 47.98 seconds on the first run. A better push on Day 2 saw T&T clock 48.17 seconds. After both races, TT totalled one minute and 36.15 seconds. However, Canada, who clocked 47.96 seconds on the first day and 48.19 seconds on the second, also accumulated 1 minute 36.15, to tie with T&T. The performance sees T&T move up to 23rd position in the world four-man bobsleigh rankings.
