Table tennis club making great progress

A year into their existence, the Caribbean Unity Table Tennis Club is seeing great progress in participation and the impact it is making in the community. The brainchild of former national player Kevin Farley and Minister in the Attorney General's Office with responsibility for Crime Prevention Corey Lane, the club was formed to aid in keeping children of vulnerable communities off the streets and participating in sports, in particular table tennis. With just over 80 people now involved in the club, there are two locations - at Haggatt Hall and Passage Road. Having participated successfully in a number of local and regional tournaments, 2024 will see the drive to be even more involved at the competitive level.
