Tanjong Pagar, Raffles Place among four precincts to continue on as Business Improvement Districts

More amenities and events are being planned to keep spots in Tanjong Pagar and Raffles Place buzzing over the next two years. They're all ground-up ideas by shops, hotels, restaurants -- working together under a pilot Business Improvement District (BID) programme. But, of the nine precincts that joined the pilot programme in 2018, only four have decided to extend their status by another two years with the government. Rebecca Metteo reports.
