Teacher identified as victim in destructive BC storm

Several people are dead and damage is extensive after a destructive atmospheric river pounded B.C.'s South Coast over the weekend. A Coquitlam, B.C. school teacher has been identified as the woman killed when her house was destroyed by a mudslide. The scope of the jaw-dropping damage is now becoming clear in two North Vancouver neighbourhoods. In Deep Cove and Woodlands, multiple homes were badly damaged during the weekend storm. Several residents are now facing a clean-up that could take weeks and come with a huge bill. One person is dead, and another is presumed dead after two vehicles were found submerged between Port Alberni and Bamfield RCMP are warning of the dangers of trying to cross flooded roads.
