Teacher shortage | Skills gap overshadows supply targets

The global education sector needs 44 million teachers by 2030 to offer quality education. This was reaffirmed at the 14th Policy Dialogue Forum -- looking at the state of teaching and why there are teacher shortages worldwide. In South Africa, the number of teachers may not be as big an issue as in other parts of the world.
