TEN SUSPECTS ARRESTED FOR TERRORIZING BUSIA RESIDENTS

Police in Busia District are holding ten people on allegations of terrorizing residents in the areas of Mumutumba Trading Center and Buhatuba Parish in Masafu Sub-County, Busia District. Kanuna Grace, the Deputy RDC of Busia District, confirmed that the ten will be produced in court for further management. Security agencies have been deployed at the Uganda-Kenya border in preparation for the New Year celebrations. At least 10 people will spend their New Year in custody over allegations of terrorizing residents in the district. Busia Kanun Grace, deputy RDC Busia District will welcome the New Year 2024 with prayers Bishop Egessa Andrew of Spring of Hope Ministries at Dabani commended the government for providing security to the church and for supporting various government programs.
