Tesla and Alphabet set to report their second quarter earnings

Commsec’s Laura Besarati joins Sky News Business Editor Ross Greenwood to discuss Alphabet and Tesla's second-quarter earnings. “Alphabet is the fourth largest company on the US market, so these earnings are very highly anticipated,” Ms Besarati said. “What we’re expecting is for them to report a 13 per cent lift in second-quarter revenue." She added the “expectation” for Tesla is to be “softer than a year ago, with about a one per cent drop in quarterly revenue".
