Tesla Cybertruck explosion: Police believe gunshot, detonation were "simultaneous"

In an update on Friday of the investigation into the Tesla Cybertruck explosion in front of the Trump Hotel in Las Vegas on New Year's Day, Las Vegas police revealed that they believe the self-inflicted gunshot and the detonation of the truck were "simultaneous." Las Vegas Police Department Sheriff Kevin McMahill said, "We believe it (the self inflicted gunshot to the head) was simultaneous with the detonation," adding that the ATF will be doing further study on the sequence of events. "It's very difficult to see inside those Teslas even with the camera angles that we have," McMahill added. Also, FBI Special Agent in Charge Spencer Evans stated, "There is no evidence that these two events (Tesla Cybertruck explosion and New Orleans truck attack) are connected."
