Thai foreign minister says Myanmar humanitarian corridor to be established soon
Thailand expects to open up a humanitarian corridor in about a months' time, to deliver aid to civilians displaced by the conflict in Myanmar. Thailand's foreign minister made these comments while inspecting the border town of Mae Sot. The conflict has hit businesses along the border hard. Thailand said it does not believe in sanctioning companies in Myanmar and hopes to see stronger trade between the two nations, to help smaller enterprises survive.
