Thailand school bus fire: More than 20 children feared dead after bodies recovered

Thai officials recovered 23 bodies from a school bus that caught fire on the outskirts of Bangkok on Tuesday. Sixteen passengers were hospitalized, the government said. Volunteer rescuer Yhutthapon Kewskuen of Ruamkatanyu Foundation told reporters the bus was carrying students on a field trip when a tire exploded. Deputy Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul of Thailand has requested for the autopsy and identification process to be expedited so that the victims' bodies can be returned to their families as soon as possible.
