It is going to be hard for protestors going forward following the tabling of the assembly and demonstration bill in the national assembly. The bill seeks to provide a legal framework for the regulation of assemblies and demonstrations as outlined in Article 37 of the constitution, Protestors will going forward be among others required to make an application to the police to hold demonstrations.
