‘The fight is on’: US President Joe Biden withdraws as the Democratic candidate

Former Kanas Democratic senator Donald Betts discusses US President Joe Biden stepping aside from his run for re-election and endorsing Vice President Kamala Harris as the Democratic candidate. “He’s (Joe Biden) heard the cries from the Democratic Party, he has succumbed to the pressure, and I think he has done it in a strategic way, just after the Republican convention,” Mr Betts told Sky News Australia. “I think the fight is on as Trump says, fight, fight, fight the Democrats are going to fight, fight, fight along with the Republican Party.”
