The gap between academia and industry - Addressing unemployment through skills alignment

Unemployment remains a pressing issue in Uganda despite various interventions by the government and private sector. While efforts have been made to expand access to education and vocational training, a significant portion of the population, particularly young people, remains unemployed or underemployed.  A critical part of addressing this challenge lies in realigning educational outcomes with industry needs.
