Residents across Florida are assessing the damage, after Hurricane Milton slammed the state with high winds, heavy rain and tornadoes. The powerful storm dropped record amounts of rain resulting in flash flooding and trapping some people in their homes. Rescue operations are still underway Winds clocked at 160 kilometers-per-hour ripped the roof off a baseball stadium and sent a crane crashing into a building in St. Petersburg. The storm left some three million homes and businesses without power.
