At the United Nations Climate Conference (COP28) in Dubai, leaders from nearly 200 countries agreed to transition away from fossil fuels and pledged to triple the amount of renewable energy by 2030 and curb the release of methane. But will it be enough to keep temperatures within the 1.5 Celsius limit set by the Paris Agreement?
