The refugee ghost project - IGG investigates DRDIP fish project mismanagement at Gulu University

Imagine an entity receiving funds meant for a specific development project only for the funds to be mismanaged to the disadvantage of the beneficiaries. This is what is reported to have befallen Gulu University when a project under Development Response to Displacement Impact Project received 2.5 billion shillings meant for fish farming ended up in wrong hands. As Suzan Nawonga reports this has since attracted the attention of the office of the Inspectorate of Government into undertaking investigations over failed completion of the earmarked projects.
