‘The search must go on’: Malaysian government ‘committed’ to finding MH370

Malaysia Transport Minister Anthony Loke says the government is “committed” to searching for the missing flight MH370. The transport minister confirmed the government is in talks with US-based marine robotics company Ocean Infinity in signing a new contract to search for the plane. “We are committed to that search and the search must go on,” Mr Loke said during a press conference. This Friday will mark the 10th anniversary of the plane’s disappearance. The flight – carrying 227 passengers, including six Australians and 12 crew – vanished en route from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing. Despite the largest search in aviation history, the Boeing 777 plane has never been found.
