The UK economy grew by 0.1% between July and September
The UK economy grew by just 0.1% during the first three months of the Labour government, according to official figures The figures are down from the 0.5% growth in the second quarter of 2024, and weaker than the 0.2% expected, according to the Office for National Statistics (ONS). The report for Labour's first quarter in office shows that the services sector grew by 0.1%, while construction grew 0.8%.
