‘This is a complete farce’: Erin Molan slams conviction of Donald Trump

Sky News host Erin Molan has labelled the conviction of Donald Trump by a New York jury as a “complete farce”. Former US president Donald Trump has been found guilty on all 34 counts in his New York hush money case. Sentencing is set for July 11. “Donald J. Trump: businessman, president, now convicted felon,” Ms Molan said. “The former and future hopeful leader of the free world found guilty of falsifying records to cover up an affair with Storm Daniels. “Even those who despise the president’s very existence are acknowledging this is a complete farce. “The prosecutor, Alvin Bragg, an elected Democrat, ran for office as someone prepared and hellbent on taking on Trump. He had to essentially create a crime, and, even then, it was shallow.”
