This Kurdish bakery is more than just a place for bread and sweets | CBC Creator Network

Kamaran Mawlood came to Canada as a refugee in 2016. He founded Kamo Bakery on Victoria Drive as a testament to his journey to a new life in Vancouver. Drawing from generations of bakers, his family continues to craft traditional Middle Eastern breads, along with paklava and sweets inspired by their family recipes. With roots in a bakery back in Iraq, Kamo Bakery carries forward a legacy of baking and giving back to the community.
