This Week in Travel- Baarle: Two Countries Inside One Town

Did you know there’s a village in Europe where stores, offices, and even homes are in two countries at the same time? Baarle is the unofficial World Capital of Enclaves and that’s because in this town there are 30 enclaves - 22 belong to Belgium and 8 belong to the Netherlands. It means you can stand in two countries at the same time. It also means you can stand in a part of the Netherlands, which is surrounded by Belgium, which is also surrounded by the Netherlands!
