Thomas Kwoyelo sentencing set for October 16

The sentencing of former Lord's Resistance Army fighter Thomas Kwoyelo at the International Crimes Division of the High Court has been set for October 16th this year. Kwoyelo was convicted by the ICD on August 13th on 44 counts of war crimes and crimes against humanity committed in northern Uganda. The crimes are in contravention of the Geneva Convention and the Penal Code Act.
