Thousands gather in Tel Aviv for anti-government protests

Israeli protesters have demanded the resignation of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, with thousands taking to the streets in Tel Aviv. Protesters calling for the release of those still being held in Gaza and for a new election. Frustration has been growing over how Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's government has handled the war and its slowness in achieving the release of the remaining Israeli hostages held by Hamas. Protests have increased in frequency over the last three weeks and are becoming more politically fuelled as frustrations rise. Israeli officials estimate that 136 captives are still held in Gaza.
