Three in every 100 children are living with cerebral palsy in Kenya

In Kenya, an estimated three in every 100 children are living with cerebral palsy. This condition impairs movement, causes involuntary muscle actions, and can affect basic functions like swallowing, speaking, and controlling eye movements. In some cases, it is accompanied by intellectual disabilities, blindness, or deafness. Ann Nyambura is one of the thousands living with the effects of cerebral palsy.
