Tiger Woods and Nike part ways after nearly 30 years

Golfing legend Tiger Woods and Nike have parted ways after a 27-year partnership. Tiger Woods signed on with Nike at age 20, in a deal estimated to be worth more than $700 million since then. He has since become one of the most recognised names in golf, winning 15 majors in his career. Nike, which has stopped manufacturing golf equipment, confirmed the news online – saying, “it's been a hell of a round, Tiger”. “Throughout the course of our partnership, we have witnessed along with the rest of the world, how Tiger not only redefined the sport of golf, but broke barriers for all of sport,” Nike said.
