Tobago Cultural Stalwart Kenetta Bobb Dies
Cultural stalwart and educator Kennetta Bobb passed away on Monday. Via release on Tuesday, the Tourism Secretary extended condolences to the family recounting the almost four decades of service Ms. Bobb gave to Tobago teaching at four schools on the island. Ms. Bobb also served on the Tobago Festival Committee and the Tobago Best Village Steering Committee and performed on popular television production Turn of the Tide. In 2020, the street on which she resided was renamed in her honour and last month, Bishop’s High School, Tobago honoured her as part of their Tobago Day celebrations. The Tourism Division said Ms. Bobb left an indelible mark and rich legacy on both the educational and cultural landscape in Tobago.
