Toronto building evacuated after roof seen teetering dangerously above street

A building near Toronto’s Kensington Market was evacuated Friday after construction crews witnessed the roof teetering dangerously above the street below and called 911. Toronto Fire Services said the two-storey building was at risk of collapsing because of the compromised roof. The section of Dundas Street West had to be shut down to traffic as crews removed the roof. Seán O’Shea spoke with residents in the area.
