July 12 officially marks the one-year anniversary of Toronto Mayor Olivia Chow taking office. Chow stepped into the hot seat, and was quickly tasked with taking on several high-profile issues. The year has been marked with progress, but also growing pains, which the mayor is promising to do better on. "I want people to remain hopeful," Chow said. "Can we do a lot more? Absolutely, there's so much more we need to do."
