Toronto Police say fatal office shooting may be related to financial business: investigation

The investigation continues into the shooting deaths of three people in the lobby of an office building in North York, Ont. on Monday afternoon. Toronto Police say two men and a woman were killed and believe the shooter is among the dead in a potential murder-suicide. The building in which the shooting took place, houses several businesses. Authorities are now saying they believe the altercation that led to the fatalities was in relation to one of those businesses – which may have been handling financial transactions. Also, a nearby daycare is still seeing the impacts of the shocking incident one day later, with staff on extra alert, waiting for kids to arrive – though attendance is low, as many parents have opted not to take their children in.
